Project Twelve is a community based non profit built on the belief that impact is created through consistency. Representing the twelve months of the year, our mission is to activate communities by creating intentional, accessible spaces for service, compassion, and connection every month. Through ongoing support for the homeless, veterans, and expanded youth outreach, we turn purpose into action year-round. By showing up consistently and working together, we demonstrate that meaningful change is built one month at a time—and that truly, a lot can happen in a year.

Our Story
On New Year’s Day 2020, Manuel Spear found himself lying on the floor of his closet, surrounded by a mound of clothes he was preparing to donate. In that quiet moment, an idea was born: Project Twelve.
The vision was simple—twelve months, twelve opportunities to show up for others through acts of service. As life unfolded, the plan didn’t launch all at once. Responsibilities, setbacks, and everyday realities slowed the formal rollout, but they never stopped the heart behind it. Manuel continued to give back in whatever ways he could, staying true to the purpose even when the structure wasn’t fully formed.
Today, Project Twelve stands as a fully recognized nonprofit dedicated to serving the community. What began with one person, a closet purge, and a desire to help has grown into something far greater.
It’s a reminder that purpose doesn’t always arrive with a grand plan. Sometimes it starts on the floor, in stillness, with a willing heart. Any moment can be the beginning of something bigger than ourselves.
